There may be times where you will need to generate support log bundles for vRealize Automation.
In the older 7.X versions, you navigate to the https:// vrealize-automation-appliance-FQDN:5480 url and download the log bundles via the appliance manager.
In the new 8.X versions (and in my example here, 8.3) you have to create the log bundles via the CLI. I am using a clustered setup in my environment.
Step 1: Log into any of the vRA cluster VMs and run the vracli log-bundle. You only have to run this command on one node in the cluster.
Step 2: The download will be available in the main current directory. You can find this by typing ls.
Step 3: After the log creation has completed, WINSCP into the VM as root and download the log bundle.
